Millie Elliott and Corban Baxter announce NRLW retirement

Sydney Roosters players Millie Elliott and Corban Baxter have announced they will retire from the NRLW at the conclusion of the current season. Both athletes have been prominent figures in the competition since its second season in 2019.

Millie Elliott, a 28-year-old front-rower, cited a desire to prioritize her growing family following the birth of her child last year. Elliott holds the distinction of being the first player to win premierships at three different clubs, having secured titles with Brisbane in 2019 and 2020, Newcastle in 2022, and the Roosters in 2024.

Corban Baxter, 32, will retire from her role as fullback after struggling to meet the physical demands of the sport following an ACL rupture last year. The duo currently heads into the finals with the Roosters remaining unbeaten this season.
