Million Dollar Quartet musical performs at The Arts at Marble Arch

The musical Million Dollar Quartet is currently playing at The Arts at Marble Arch, a temporary 500-seat venue established while the original Arts Theatre undergoes redevelopment.

The production reimagines the historic December 4, 1956, session at Sun Studios, where Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, and Jerry Lee Lewis performed together under the guidance of producer Sam Phillips. The show, written by Colin Escott and Floyd Mutrux, focuses on the narrative of Phillips and the emergence of these rock ’n’ roll icons.

Performances include Connor Payne as Elvis Presley, Christopher Erasmus as Johnny Cash, Joey Bradick as Carl Perkins, and Joe Bence as Jerry Lee Lewis, with Darren Day portraying Sam Phillips. Reviews highlight the production's ability to capture the nostalgia and musical energy of the era.
