Millonarios signs Burrai, Parra and Aguirre as De Amores departs

Millonarios announced the termination of Uruguayan goalkeeper Guillermo de Amores' contract, thanking him for his professionalism. The vacancy allowed the club to bring in three new keepers for the second half of the season.

Argentina's Javier Burrai arrived on loan from Sarmiento de Junín, while Joan Parra, fresh from a spell at Once Caldas, also signed a year‑long deal. Colombian veteran James Aguirre, former Bucaramanga and Once Caldas starter, joined on loan with an option to buy after a planned signing of Cristopher Varela fell through.

The acquisitions come as Millonarios prepares for the upcoming BetPlay Copa and Clausura tournament, with a squad limit of 25 players enforced by DIMAYOR. The club will debut its new goalkeeper lineup on 25 July against Atlético Bucaramanga at El Campín.
