Mills Family Foundation donates $100,000 for cardiac CT service
The Mills Family Foundation has donated $100,000 toward a cardiac CT service for patients in Far North Queensland. This contribution brings the total fundraising for the cardiac challenge to over $480,000 this year.
Supported by the Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation, the new CT coronary angiography service aims to provide faster diagnoses for patients presenting with chest pain. The service is intended to reduce the need for invasive procedures and allow patients to receive treatment closer to home.
