Milly Alcock Cast as Lead in DCU’s 2026 ‘Supergirl’ Film
Australian actress Milly Alcock, born in Sydney on 11 April 2000, has been cast in the titular role for the 2026 DC Universe film “Supergirl”. Raised by a single mother who worked as a nanny, Alcock left Newtown High School of the Performing Arts to pursue acting, supporting herself with jobs in cafés and a restaurant while filming the Australian series Upright. Her breakthrough came with the role of Rhaenyra Targaryen in “House of the Dragon”, after which she joined the newly rebooted DCU built by James Gunn and Peter Safran. In the upcoming film she will appear alongside Jason Momoa, David Corenswet and Matthias Schoenaerts.
