Milo Infante debuts on Mediaset with new crime news programming

Journalist Milo Infante has made his television debut with Mediaset following a long career at Rai. His new programming includes ‘Ore 11’ on Rete 4 and ‘Verità Nascoste – Il Diario’ on Canale 5.

Initial viewership numbers show a mixed but notable performance. ‘Ore 11’ attracted approximately 460,000 to 550,000 viewers, while the afternoon program ‘Verità Nascoste – Il Diario’ reached 1.22 million viewers with a 16.7% share. However, in a direct afternoon competition, Infante’s program was surpassed by Rai 1’s ‘Vita in Diretta,’ which saw higher viewership and share during overlapping periods.

The debut programs covered various crime news topics, including the Garlasco case and the arrest of rapper Tony Boy. The transition to Mediaset is described by Infante as an ‘important bet,’ noting a more production-focused environment compared to his previous experience at Rai.
