Milo Infante leaves Rai for Mediaset after programme‑schedule disputes
TV presenter Milo Infante has announced his departure from Italy’s public broadcaster Rai to join commercial network Mediaset. The move follows Infante’s criticism of the treatment his flagship shows – “Ore 14” and “Ore 14 Sera” – received from Rai management, including scheduling conflicts with other programmes. Infante told journalists that “there are other worlds beyond here” and pointed to a perceived lack of recognition despite his shows achieving audience shares of 8‑10 percent and around one million viewers. Rai’s director Davide Maggio confirmed the shift, noting the presenter’s frustration over “bistrattato” (poorly treated) programmes. Infante’s final episode featured a farewell that underscored his decision to seek new opportunities outside Rai.
