Argentine‑Uruguayan artist Milo J presented his new EP “Live from NPR’s Tiny Desk”, a collection of the seven songs performed during his Tiny Desk session. The performance blended folklore, murga and contemporary sounds, and was highlighted as one of the year’s most discussed sessions.
The show featured the legendary Uruguayan murga Agarrate Catalina and a stage set with Argentine cultural symbols such as a Deportivo Morón flag, mate, a Martín Fierro copy, the Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo scarf, a “Nunca Más” doll, the Argentine flag, a Mercedes Sosa magazine, a Malvinas badge, a Horacio Guarany vinyl and a poncho gifted by Soledad Pastorutti at the Cosquín Festival.
