Miloš Milenković finishes eighth in 50m butterfly at Mediterranean Games

Montenegrin swimmer Miloš Milenković finished eighth in the 50-meter butterfly final at the Mediterranean Games. This marked his first appearance in a final at the event.

Milenković recorded a time of 24.25 seconds in the final, which was slower than his semifinal time of 23.86 seconds. He attributed the performance to a poor start and stiffness in the left side of his spine. Despite the result, he expressed satisfaction with reaching his first final.

National team coach Danijela Franeta stated that the goal of reaching the final was achieved and noted the importance of this milestone for the young swimmer's career. She mentioned that technical errors and nerves contributed to the final time. Milenković is scheduled to compete in the 100-meter butterfly next.
