Miloš Roganović wins Borovo 2026 international chess tournament

Grandmaster Miloš Roganović won the 27th Borovo 2026 international rapid chess tournament held on August 9 at the Borovo Fire Station. Organized by the Sloga Chess Club, the event featured 42 players from Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Sweden.

Roganović secured first place with a score of 7.5 points from nine games, consisting of six wins and three draws. The top female player was 18-year-old Maša Babić from Teslić, who is scheduled to represent Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Chess Olympiad in Uzbekistan this September. Her sister, Milana, placed fourth in the competition.
