Miloš Vučević calls for Serbian unity and denies use of alleged ‘sound cannon’ on protesters

Serbian Progressive Party leader Miloš Vučević visited Kovilj in Vojvodina, where he addressed a crowd gathered for a “Serbia wins” rally. He urged the audience to unite the country, asserted that Vojvodina will remain part of Serbia, and criticised past actions that he said tried to divide communities. Vučević said the nation must stay together ahead of upcoming elections and announced a meeting in Belgrade on Vidovdan, June 27, to discuss policy on Kosovo, the army and other regional issues.

In a separate video posted to Instagram, Vučević responded to new evidence presented by the investigative body VJT concerning a alleged “sound cannon” used during a protest on 15 March 2025. He denied that any such device was ever deployed, stating that no order came from the president, the prime minister, the interior minister or the police director. Vučević accused opponents of fabricating the claim and pledged that the truth would be revealed.
