Miloš Vučević condemns threats to opposition families and revises comments on 2025 student attack

Serbian Progressive Party leader Miloš Vučević faced criticism after he downplayed the 2025 assault on students in Novi Sad, saying the injured student Ani Vučak was "physically strong, very tall, large" and that "she did not break her jaw for a simple reason". Slobodan University denounced his remarks as "indecent repetitions" and accused President Aleksandar Vučić of interfering with the trial of the four SNS activists charged with the attack.

Vučević also responded to recent threats against opposition figure Krstu Janjušević and his family, stating that "attacks on families show they have crossed the line again" and urging that political disputes be settled through dialogue and institutions rather than intimidation.
