Miloš Vučević Leads SNS Rally in Pertate as President Vučić Absent

Miloš Vučević, head of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) and adviser to President Aleksandar Vučić, attended a party gathering in the village of Pertate near Lebane on June 27. The event, titled “Serbia Wins,” was held under tents on a football field and was attended by local SNS members and officials. President Vučić was expected but did not appear, prompting organizers to proceed with the rally without him.

Later, Vučević criticised University of Belgrade rector Vladan Đokić for a visit to the Hilandar monastery, accusing him of stoking “blockader” sentiment against worshippers at the Temple of Saint Sava. He reiterated the SNS’s plans for a larger rally on June 27, promised “big ideas” for citizens, and warned of intense political competition ahead of upcoming elections, citing concerns about Vojvodina and broader national unity.
