Milorad Dodik criticizes OHR report to UN Security Council
Milorad Dodik, president of the SNSD, has denounced a report submitted by the Office of the High Representative (OHR) to the United Nations Security Council, labeling it as containing inaccurate information and arbitrary qualifications. Dodik characterized the document as a continuation of a one-sided political agenda that recycles old accusations against Republika Srpska.
Dodik argued that the OHR acts as an instrument of a foreign protectorate, undermining sovereignty and the rule of law by allowing an unelected official to bypass parliaments and constitutions. He called on the UN Security Council to annul decisions made by officials such as Christian Schmidt and Valentin Inzko, asserting that such mandates lack democratic legitimacy.
Further criticism was directed at the report's focus on foreign influence, with Dodik stating that the OHR's approach is irrational and fails to address objective internal problems in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He maintained that Republika Srpska remains committed to cooperation with Russia and rejected the imposition of European policies regarding sanctions.
