Milorad Dodik proposes naming highway ‘Donald Trump’

Milorad Dodik, president of the SNSD, has proposed naming the planned Banjaluka–Bijeljina highway ‘Donald Trump’. The project involves a route of over 200 kilometers.

Dodik noted that while work has already begun on sections involving Chinese partners, he is open to American companies if they offer more favorable terms. He cited the King of Morocco naming a highway after the U.S. President as a precedent. Dodik suggested that involving American companies in construction through the Brčko district could help secure the sovereignty of Republika Srpska.
