Milto Tendoğlu leads Piraeus Street Long Jump event in Greece

On Sunday 28 July the Municipal Theatre of Piraeus will host the Piraeus Street Long Jump, drawing some of the sport’s leading athletes. The headline draw is Olympic gold‑medalist and world champion Milto Tendoğlu, who has posted season bests of 8.49 m and a wind‑assisted 8.54 m at Dromia.

Also competing are South African world‑record holder Luvuyo Manionga (8.65 m) and Jamaican champion Tazei Gale (8.69 m), along with a field that includes Jeremia Davis, Cristian Puli, Senol Kaonel Koetsi, Simon Bates and several Greek jumpers. The women’s contest features Greek athletes Spyridoula Karidi, Evelin Mitropoulou and Maria Stefano‑poulou, plus internationals Militsa Gardaseviti, Jasmin Sogers and Alina Rotaru‑Kottmann. Women’s jumps begin at 19:30, men’s at 21:00, and the competition will be broadcast live by MEGA News.
