Milton Glaser exhibition opens at King Nikola's Palace
The exhibition ‘Here Is What I Have Learned So Far’ by renowned American graphic designer Milton Glaser has opened at King Nikola's Palace in Bar. This event marks the first visiting exhibition held at the palace following its reconstruction and reopening to the public, signaling the start of a new exhibition season for the Homeland Museum of the Cultural Center Bar.
The exhibition features 40 posters and visual solutions from the collection of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Republika Srpska. These works were donated to the museum by the prominent designer and illustrator Mirko Ilić. The collection highlights Glaser's influential career, including his creation of the iconic ‘I Love New York’ logo.
In addition to visual works, the exhibition includes a selection of Glaser's writings regarding art, design, and the responsibilities of visual communication. The project was organized by the Museum of Contemporary Art of Republika Srpska with support from the U.S. Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina as part of the ‘Freedom 250’ initiative.
