Milton Glaser exhibition to conclude Street Arts Festival Mostar

An exhibition titled ‘Milton Glaser: This Is What I Have Learned’ will open on August 31, 2026, at the University of Mostar Museum of Modern Art. The event marks the conclusion of the 15th Street Arts Festival Mostar.

The exhibition celebrates the work of Milton Glaser, a highly influential American graphic designer known for creating the ‘I ♥ NY’ visual identity and the iconic Bob Dylan silhouette. The display will feature 40 posters and visual solutions from the collection of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Republika Srpska, provided by designer Mirko Ilić.

In addition to visual works, the exhibition will include a selection of Glaser’s writings regarding art, design, and the responsibilities of visual communication. The project is a collaboration between the University of Mostar Museum of Modern Art and the Museum of Contemporary Art of Republika Srpska, supported by the U.S. Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina under the ‘Freedom 250’ initiative.
