Miltos Tentoglou jumps 6.29m at garden athletics gala in Pallini

Olympic champion Miltos Tentoglou participated in the unique ‘Garden Jumps Gala’ held in Pallini, Greece. The event, organized by veteran athlete Giorgos Demenagass, takes place in the garden of his home in the Balana area.

For over ten years, Demenagass has transformed his private garden into an informal athletic venue featuring a runway, a sandpit, and simple seating for spectators. The gathering serves as a relaxed meeting point for track and field enthusiasts and athletes.

During the event, Tentoglou achieved a jump of 6.29 meters, setting an unofficial ‘garden record’. The informal setting led to humorous remarks from spectators, including comments about the proximity of the garden fence to the athlete's jump.
