Milwaukee Brewers walk off to beat Miami Marlins, extending NL Central lead

A day earlier the Brewers rallied from an early 3‑0 deficit, with Jackson Chourio’s two‑run single and Mitchell’s two‑run double helping Milwaukee pull away for an 8‑6 win. The victories moved the Brewers to a 61‑37 record, the best in the National League Central and a game behind the Dodgers for the overall league lead. The Marlins, meanwhile, suffered their fifth straight loss, dropping to 52‑47 and remaining in the NL East wild‑card race.

Milwaukee also placed outfielder Sal Frelick on the 10‑day injured list with a right‑shoulder strain and listed several other players on the IL, while Miami dealt with multiple injuries of its own. Both clubs continue to jockey for postseason positioning as the season heads into its final stretch.
