Milwaukee Bucks enter new era under coach Taylor Jenkins

The Milwaukee Bucks are beginning a new era following the offseason trades of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis. Head coach Taylor Jenkins, in his first season with the team, stated that the roster's foundation is “still settling” and that the team is currently in a learning phase.

Jenkins emphasized that the opening-night rotation is not “etched in stone” and remains fluid as the coaching staff evaluates roster depth and chemistry. While the team is focused on establishing habits, Jenkins noted that the process of building the new foundation could take an entire calendar year.

Regarding individual player status, rookie Nate Ament has returned to full practice participation following a recent ankle sprain. Jenkins noted that no decisions have been made regarding a potential assignment to the Wisconsin Herd, as the rookie continues to perform well in training camp.
