Milwaukee Bucks introduce Taylor Jenkins as new head coach

The Milwaukee Bucks held their media day, introducing head coach Taylor Jenkins following the departure of Doc Rivers. Jenkins, who previously coached the Memphis Grizzlies and had a stint with the Bucks in 2018-19, replaces Rivers after a 32-50 season.

Bucks Co-owner Wes Edens expressed high confidence in the new leadership, stating, “I think he may be the biggest addition in the NBA offseason, as far as I'm concerned.” Edens noted that Jenkins was a primary target for a long-term contract and represents a known quantity to the organization.

The team's theme for the upcoming season is “Compete together,” a slogan emphasized by players like Tyler Herro and Gary Trent Jr. as they look to build accountability and cohesion following recent roster and coaching staff changes.
