Milwaukee Bucks waive Pete Nance and two others

The Milwaukee Bucks have requested waivers on Pete Nance, Johni Broome, and Jake Stephens as part of an effort to trim their roster before the October 19 deadline.

Nance, who played 47 games for Milwaukee last season, averaged 5.4 points and 2.7 rebounds per game. While his contract was non-guaranteed, there is a possibility he could return to the organization on a two-way deal if he clears waivers. Broome and Stephens, who were on Exhibit 10 contracts, are expected to join the Wisconsin Herd.

Following these moves, the Bucks still have 16 players on guaranteed standard contracts. The team must waive at least one more player or execute a trade to reach the required 15 standard contracts before the roster deadline.
