Milwaukee hosts diverse cultural and community events

Milwaukee features a variety of cultural and community events scheduled for late September. The Milwaukee Film Dialogues Documentary Festival is hosting four days of screenings and filmmaker Q&As, covering topics such as artificial intelligence and natural disasters.

Other local activities include the Doors Open event, which provides tours of over 100 industrial, historic, and unique locations across the city. Food enthusiasts can participate in a preview for South Side Dining Week at Zócalo Food Park, featuring samples from several local restaurants.

The music scene is also active, with the Artists Who Care Concert at the Tripoli Shrine Center benefiting the Tripoli Shriners Transportation Fund. Additionally, the RW Jazz Fest will transform Center Street in Riverwest into a jazz hub, and the band They Might Be Giants is scheduled to perform at The Pabst Theater.
