Mimí Lazo to premiere new play in Valencia

Venezuelan actress Mimí Lazo will present the play ‘Hombre no es gente’ at the Hotel Hesperia in Valencia on October 30. Written by Mónica Montañés and directed by Luis Fernández, the production features Lazo reprising her character Gladys López.

The story follows Gladys as she prepares a traditional three-milk cake to welcome her children back to Venezuela after years abroad. Using an Instagram Live stream to manage her emotions, the character engages with virtual neighbors in conversations regarding family, migration, and relationships through sharp humor.
