Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University hosts Tezhip art workshop

A Tezhip (traditional Turkish illumination) workshop was held at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University to introduce young students to the intricacies of this traditional decorative art. Supported by Türk Altın, the workshop provided practical training under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Münevver Üçer and Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Atilla Yusuf Turgut.

Participants engaged in fundamental applications of the art, including the process of gold leafing. The initiative aims to connect younger generations with traditional arts, ensuring the preservation and spread of these cultural techniques. Türk Altın CEO Abdurrahman Alp Beyaz noted that the company supports the cultural and artistic value of gold alongside its economic role.
