Mina Karameritou departs Open, eyes presenter role at SKAI

Mina Karameritou announced her resignation from the Greek television channel Open, informing director Christos Panagiotopoulos that she would leave the network in early August after a long tenure. Open is now searching for a new co‑host to join Nikos Stravelakis on the daily show “10 pantou”.

Discussions about Karameritou’s next move began in June with the broadcaster SKAI. An earlier proposal for her to become the new partner of Dimitris Oikonomou on the program “Sima” did not materialise, and the slot was instead filled internally by moving journalist Giannis Pitaras alongside Oikonomou. SKAI officials have expressed interest in employing Karameritou as a presenter, though the specific programme has not yet been decided.
