Mina releases new single ‘Vento di passione’

Italian singer Mina has released a new single titled ‘Vento di passione’, a cover of a song originally written by Pino Daniele. The track, which was previously made famous as a duet with Giorgia in 2007, serves as the lead single for the upcoming album ‘Dilettevoli inedite eccedenze’.

The album is scheduled for release on October 9 and is the third volume in a series featuring previously unreleased cover songs curated by the artist. The project is described as a musical research effort to highlight beautiful, sometimes obscure songs.

The single is accompanied by a music video directed by Ferzan Özpetek and starring Luca Argentero. The physical album will also include twelve previously unseen photographs selected by Mina and Mauro Balletti from their archives.
