Mina to release new album ‘Dilettevoli inedite eccedenze’

Italian singer Mina is set to release a new album titled ‘Dilettevoli inedite eccedenze’ on October 9. The project serves as the third installment in a collection dedicated to recordings that were previously unreleased due to editorial decisions or thematic inconsistencies.

The album features a diverse range of tracks spanning several decades, from the 1970s to more recent recordings, including a version of ‘Vento di passione’ recorded in early 2026. The tracklist includes various genres and influences, such as a flamenco-style rendition of The Beatles’ ‘Eleanor Rigby’, Sicilian folk traditions, and works by Pino Daniele.

Massimiliano Pani Mazzini, Mina’s son and producer, described the album as a ‘musical herbarium’ of different eras. He noted that the recordings maintain their original sound and character from the time they were captured, with only technical remixes performed to improve audio quality without altering the historical imprint of the tracks.
