Minab Bicycle Caravan travels from Turkey to Iran to support children

The Minab Bicycle Caravan, a group of six volunteers from various Turkish provinces, is traveling along the historic Silk Road to reach Minab, Iran. The journey aims to protest war policies and express solidarity with children in the region.

Participants are carrying school bags, letters, drawings, and stationery items written and created by children in Turkey to deliver to children in Minab. The group seeks to highlight the right to life for children and create a bridge of solidarity across borders.

Organizers stated the journey was motivated by a previous attack on a kindergarten in Minab, which they claim resulted in significant child casualties. The cyclists intend to use their route to symbolically revive the spirit of the Silk Road, which historically fostered cultural exchange and connection between civilizations.
