Minamiizu Spiny Lobster Festival travel packages announced by JR East View

JR East View Tourism & Sales has announced travel packages for the Minamiizu Spiny Lobster Festival, scheduled to take place from October 3 to November 30, 2026, in Minamiizu, Shizuoka Prefecture.

Group tour options include stays at facilities such as Sekkaikai Bettei Kagiya, Hotel Kawachiya, Kushu no Ten Shukubun, and Kiichiyu. These packages feature a dinner including one whole spiny lobster, with preparation methods such as sashimi, grilled, or boiled available depending on the accommodation. Travelers will ride the Saphir Odoriko luxury train as part of the itinerary.

Additionally, the company is offering the ‘JR East View Dynamic Rail Pack’ for individual travelers, which includes train and accommodation bundles. Limited-quantity discount coupons of up to 15,000 yen are available for bookings made in September for specific participating facilities.
