In Divinópolis, the Festas de Reinado involve various communities, including Porto Velho, Vale do Sol, and Espírito Santo. In Montes Claros, the nearly bicentennial Festas de Agosto are being held, featuring groups of catopês, marujos, and caboclinhos. The celebrations involve approximately 600 dancers and offer free access to various cultural exhibitions and artistic shows.
