Minas Gerais expands Trajeto Moda program for women

The Government of Minas Gerais, through the State Secretariat of Social Development (Sedese), has expanded the Trajeto Moda professional qualification program to three municipalities: Poços de Caldas, Chapada Gaúcha, and Montes Claros.

The program is designed for women in situations of social vulnerability, providing training in sewing techniques alongside socio-emotional development to foster financial autonomy and self-confidence. In Poços de Caldas, classes began in October, allowing participants to learn a trade that can be practiced from home.

To support the initiative, the municipalities received sewing machines and necessary materials. The expansion includes 45 participants in total, with 15 women enrolled in each of the three participating cities.
