Minas Gerais fire department recruits over 15,000 candidates in July 26 exam
On Sunday, July 26, the Minas Gerais Military Firefighters Corps (CBM MG) administered the objective phase of its recruitment exam for the rank of soldier. More than 15,500 applicants were called to test centers in cities across the state, including Belo Horizonte, Juiz de Fora, Montes Claros and others. The written test ran from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., with candidates required to stay in the room for at least three hours after the start.
The organizing body, Idecan, announced that preliminary answer keys and scanned copies of the candidates' answer sheets will be posted on its website on Wednesday, July 29. Applicants may submit appeals to the keys and questions on July 30‑31, and the final keys and provisional results are scheduled for publication on August 18. The competition offers 321 vacancies for the Course of Formation of Soldiers, with additional requirements such as a university degree, age limit of 30, a driver’s licence and minimum height standards. Successful candidates will begin at the second class with an initial salary of R$4,562.30.
