Minas Gerais Penal Police exam results released

The definitive results for the objective phase of the Minas Gerais Penal Police (Polícia Penal MG) public exam have been released by the State Secretariat of Justice and Public Security (SEJUSP-MG). The exam offers 178 positions for both male and female candidates, requiring a high school education and providing an initial salary of R$ 5,332.64. Qualified candidates have also been summoned for the essay correction phase.

Additionally, a simplified selection process for 686 prison agent positions has been canceled. This follows a decision by the Supreme Federal Court (STF), which ruled that the state law allowing such temporary hiring was unconstitutional. Under Constitutional Amendment 104/2019, entry into this career must occur exclusively through public competitive examinations.
