Minas Shopping Terminal inaugurates facility expansion in Uruguay

Minas Shopping Terminal has officially inaugurated an expansion of its facilities in Lavalleja, Uruguay. The ceremony included local authorities, such as Intendant Daniel Ximénez, political representatives, and members of the Centro Comercial e Industrial de Lavalleja.

Carlos Alberto Lecueder, president of the operating company Manfely S.A., noted that the expansion was completed in record time. He highlighted that the project was finished in less than four years since the mall's initial opening in December 2022, surpassing the timeline of the Montevideo Shopping's first expansion.

The expansion addresses previous operational challenges by enclosing and climate-controlling the circulation areas. This change aims to provide comfort for visitors during extreme weather conditions, such as heavy rain, wind, heat, or cold. The project also introduces new commercial spaces and entertainment options, incorporating various brands including Adidas, Umbro, and Mistral.
