Mind Diver announced for Nintendo Switch 2

Playism and Indoor Sunglasses have announced that the detective adventure game ‘Mind Diver’ will be released for Nintendo Switch 2 on August 27, 2026. This marks the title's first adaptation for consoles following its initial PC launch via Steam in late 2025.

The narrative follows a woman named Lina whose boyfriend, Sebastian, has disappeared. Players act as a ‘Mind Diver,’ using experimental technology to explore Lina's deteriorating subconscious, referred to as the ‘Mind Ocean.’ The gameplay involves navigating eight decaying regions of her mind to reconstruct a timeline of the night Sebastian vanished.

Key mechanics include analyzing over 130 ‘Echoes’—fully voiced conversation snippets—and locating more than 700 missing objects to fill ‘Memory Holes.’ Players must also examine case files and use a ‘Memory Log’ to cross-reference interactions and identify suspects in the investigation.
