Minecraft receives new updates focusing on stability and bug fixes

Mojang has released new updates for Minecraft, focusing on stability, bug fixes, and gameplay refinements across various platforms.

Version 26.3 Pre-Release 2, released on September 4, 2026, prioritizes technical and visual fixes over the regular snapshot schedule. Key improvements include fixing Sculk sensor detection for melting ice and snow, resolving particle and audio synchronization issues in multiplayer, and addressing rendering problems on Windows devices equipped with Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 CPUs.

Additionally, Minecraft 26.60.21 has been released as a Beta version for Android via Google Play. This update introduces biome generation changes, such as Lush Caves appearing more frequently in high-humidity regions. Gameplay mechanics have also been adjusted, including updates to how pistons interact with entities and changes to Shulker behavior.
