Mineiros police recover stolen cell phones from Mato Grosso do Sul theft

Police in Mineiros, Goiás, arrested an individual suspected of involvement in a cell phone theft that occurred in Mato Grosso do Sul. The operation was launched following information sharing between the security forces of both states.

The theft, which took place during the early morning hours at a retail store, resulted in estimated losses of approximately R$ 200,000. During the joint action involving the Mineiros Civil Police, the Special Criminal Investigation Group (GEIC), and the Specialized Policing Company (CPE), several stolen mobile devices were located and seized. The recovered equipment will be returned to the owners following legal procedures. Investigations are ongoing to identify other suspects and recover any remaining stolen goods.
