Minera Media Luna hosts craft workshop for women in Guerrero

Minera Media Luna, a subsidiary of Torex Gold Resources, conducted a corn husk flower-making workshop for women in the Tepehuaje community of Guerrero, Mexico. The initiative was held in collaboration with CONALEP Iguala to provide artisanal training and expand productive skills within mining-related communities.

Participants learned manual techniques to transform traditional materials into decorative pieces. Upon completion, attendees received diplomas and material kits to encourage continued practice. While the program aims to foster local entrepreneurship and community development, there are currently no documented results confirming the creation of new businesses from this specific activity.
