Mineral de la Reforma launches disaster risk survey

The municipal government of Mineral de la Reforma has launched a public survey to identify population and housing vulnerabilities to natural phenomena. This initiative is part of the ongoing efforts to update the municipal Atlas of Risks and Hazards.

The survey aims to collect data regarding household characteristics, housing conditions, access to services, perceptions of danger, and individual capacities to respond to emergencies. It also seeks to identify specific communication and assistance needs for different population groups.

Results from the survey will complement field visits and territorial analysis to help guide prevention and risk reduction measures tailored to specific localities and neighborhoods. The data will be integrated into the municipal vulnerability assessment and released upon the publication of the Atlas. The survey remains open for participation until November 12, 2026.
