Mineral exploration advances in Botswana and Namibia

Botswana Minerals plc has received environmental authorization to begin field exploration for copper in the Ngamiland region of north-west Botswana. The company intends to conduct soil sampling at licenses 548 and 549 to identify potential drilling targets. This follows historical geological data and drill-core samples that indicated copper mineralization associated with haematite-quartz veining and copper-bearing sulphide minerals.

In Namibia, Golden Deeps Ltd. has reported significant mineral findings at its Graceland critical metals prospect. Recent diamond drilling at the Central Otavi Project confirmed high-grade zones of copper, zinc, silver, lead, and germanium. The company is now launching a deeper drilling program targeting three priority sulphide zones along an 800-metre corridor to confirm the extension of these mineralized zones.
