MECL Announces 13 Executive Trainee Vacancies Across India, Applications Open Aug 1‑14

Mineral Exploration and Consultancy Limited (MECL), a Miniratna‑I public sector enterprise under India’s Ministry of Mines, has issued a recruitment notification for 13 Executive Trainee positions. The posts include one Electrical trainee and twelve Mechanical trainees across the Procurement & Contract, Store & Disposal, and Drilling divisions.

Eligibility is limited to candidates who participated in the UPSC Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2024, cleared the written stage and appeared for the interview but were not selected by UPSC. Applicants must hold a B.E./B.Tech degree in the relevant discipline with at least 60 % marks and be no older than 28 years as of 1 August 2026 (age relaxations apply for reserved categories). Applications are accepted online from 1 August to 14 August 2026 via the MECL recruitment portal.

Selected trainees will be posted to MECL projects and offices anywhere in India and will receive a salary ranging from ₹40,000 to ₹1,40,000 per month, along with standard allowances and benefits.
