Minerul Lupeni begins new season with fresh signings and new technical director

Romanian third‑division club CS Minerul Lupeni entered the 2025‑2026 campaign after adding 16 new players and seeing 10 departures. The club also appointed former Petroșănean Ioan Stelescu as technical director, while head coach Ionuț Moșteanu was given freedom to select the squad. Among the newcomers are midfielder Denis Milotin, Camal Ryan Moumbagna, forward Erwin Tiganj, defender François Yabré and goalkeepers Aurelian Păun and Relu Stoian.

Financier Emil Părău addressed supporters in an open letter, reaffirming the club’s commitment to continue funding the team despite a difficult economic year. He highlighted the partnership with Lupeni mayor Lucian Resmeriță and the local council, urging fans to keep supporting the club and promising that each match will be approached with a win‑oriented mindset.
