Minerva expands portfolio through acquisitions despite revenue dip
Minerva reported its 2025 financial results, characterized by strategic expansions despite market volatility and fluctuating raw material costs. The company completed the absorption of Mediterranean Foods A.E. and acquired several olive and seed oil brands—Altis, Elani, Flora, and Sol—from Flora Food to strengthen its market presence.
Financially, Minerva's turnover reached €69.26 million, a 6.8% decrease compared to the previous year, largely due to lower olive oil market prices. However, export activities remained strong, accounting for 13.5% of total turnover with sales of €9.35 million outside Greece.
While the gross profit margin saw a slight decrease to 21.9% from 22.9% in 2024, the EBITDA/sales ratio improved to 11% from 10.4%. Pre-tax profits showed positive growth, rising to €1.82 million from €1.51 million in 2024. The company continues to focus on modernizing its production facilities to improve efficiency and reduce energy costs.
