Mingdao High School students design Golden Horse Awards gift box

Students from Mingdao High School in Taichung have designed the ‘Enjoyment’ (享遇) co-branded gift box for the 63rd Golden Horse Awards. The project involved a collaboration between the school’s design and business management departments, working alongside the ‘Taichung Fresh’ initiative, the Dajia District Farmers' Association, and Putao Winery.

The gift box integrates local Taichung products, including a traditional ‘paosheng’ distilled spirit, with creative visual designs inspired by the Golden Horse theme. Students participated in the entire process, including typography, visual design, copywriting, and marketing planning. The design utilizes earthy tones and imagery of the Da'an River to reflect the local landscape and culture.

Taichung Mayor Lu Shiow-yen noted that the collaboration between industry, government, and academia creates products with collectible value while providing students with practical experience in local industry and economic development.
