Mingshi Cup micro-nano sensing competition finals open in Yantai

The seventh ‘Mingshi Cup’ National University Micro-Nano Sensing Technology and Intelligent Application Competition finals have opened at Yantai University. The event features 402 finalist teams selected from a record 961 entries submitted by 192 universities and research institutes across China.

The competition covers areas such as innovative design of micro-nano sensors, process research, and intelligent applications under extreme conditions. The event is hosted by the China Mechanical Engineering Society and aims to cultivate professional skills and problem-solving abilities in engineering students.

Alongside the competition, the second Micro-Nano Manufacturing Industry Exhibition has launched, featuring 60 exhibitors. This exhibition focuses on promoting technical exchange and industrial cooperation within the micro-nano manufacturing supply chain. Additionally, the National Micro-Nano Manufacturing Innovation Center announced that its postdoctoral workstation has been officially approved, marking a milestone in its three-year development plan to establish a ‘China Micro-Nano Valley’ in Yantai.
