MINI debuts Countryman Untamed Edition for off-road rally

MINI has introduced the Countryman Untamed Edition, a new version of its SUV designed with enhanced off-road capabilities. To demonstrate the vehicle's ruggedness, MINI will enter the model in the Rebelle Rally, a demanding competition where crews must navigate over 2,400 kilometers across American deserts without the use of GPS, relying instead on traditional maps, compasses, and itineraries.

The Rebelle Rally 2026 is scheduled to begin on October 8 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, traveling through Nevada, California, and Utah. The competition is exclusively for all-female teams consisting of a driver and a navigator. For this event, Felicia Killman will drive the MINI Countryman Untamed Edition, accompanied by navigator Erika Ferrer.

The Untamed Edition features several aesthetic and functional upgrades to support off-road use, including a raised ground clearance of 15 mm, new front bumpers, and underbody protections. The model also offers unique color options, such as the Frozen Nomad Blue, which marks the first matte paint option available on a standard MINI production model.
