MINI launches limited-edition 1998 GT and Oxford Edition models

MINI has announced two distinct limited-edition vehicle releases. In the United States, MINI USA is introducing the 1998 GT Edition as the sixth installment of its Icon Drops series. Based on the F66 Cooper C 2-Door, the model features a 1,998cc turbocharged engine, a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, and John Cooper Works (JCW) upgrades including suspension, brakes, and aerodynamic winglets. The edition is exclusively available in Midnight Black Metallic with a starting price of $36,875.

In Malaysia, MINI Malaysia has launched the MINI Cooper S Oxford Edition to commemorate 25 years of production at Plant Oxford in the United Kingdom. This highly exclusive run is limited to only six units nationwide, split between Chili Red, Indigo Sunset Blue, and Blazing Blue finishes. The model features Union Jack exterior accents and interior details, such as a branded steering wheel. Pricing starts at RM289,888, representing a RM6,000 premium over the standard Cooper S 3-Door.
