Mini Mathur wins Prime Video's 'Alliance' show, takes Rs 50 lakh
Television host and actress Mini Mathur, 53, emerged as the winner of the inaugural season of Amazon Prime Video’s reality series “Alliance”. The competition, hosted by actor Kunal Kemmu, concluded with a final showdown in which Mathur defeated actor Aly Goni, who finished as first runner‑up, and digital creator Ruhee Dosani, the second runner‑up. Mathur was awarded the trophy and a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh.
In post‑show interviews, Mathur highlighted the ageism and sexism she encountered, saying she “hated the male dominance on the show” and hopes her victory will challenge stereotypes about who can succeed in reality TV.
